In reply to Andrew. I think that was our best 10 outfield players. Injuries and inconsistent form have meant lots of changes but that is the group that should start the rest of the season (with Cech coming back in when healthy). It won't happen because Wenger will start Ramsey as soon as he is healthy. Only question is whether Ramsey will replace Elneny or Iwobi (I am guessing, the latter).

Agree for the most part. I agree Gabriel is man of the match. He was fantastic. Iwobi made a few mistakes but you were harsh on him. He was involved before the goal. His passing and movement (combined with the pace and movement of Welbeck) add a dimension to the attack that has been missing. He also put in a good shift on defense.

I thought Giroud deserved a 5. Maybe his goal should have counted but he did nothing otherwise. And he took a horrible shot from distance when he had Gibbs in a ton of space.

It certainly was good day at the office.
I thought the ratings were fair. In particular I thought your praise of Paulista and the critique of Iwobi were important observations. I’m not so sure about the performance of Sanchez.
I must say that when I saw the starting eleven, I asked myself how have we arrived at crunch time and are experimenting with a totally different front three arrangement (including Sanchez on the right).
Leicester play the same guys day after day and we are seemingly working with a blank page at times.
