A brutal first-half blitz saw Arsenal ease past Fulham at Craven Cottage as goals from Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard sent them on their way.
Mikel Arteta named virtually a full-strength side with Leandro Trossard back from injury, and Gabriel Jesus surprisingly named on the bench.
The Gunners were in front quickly after having a goal disallowed as Gabriel rose to head home Leandro Trossard’s corner. Arsenal doubled their lead after some great work from Trossard in the box, and his clipped ball found Martinelli, who headed home from close range as the Gunners were in a dominating mood.
The visitors added a third just before halftime as Martin Odegaard was found in the box by Trossard before thumping his effort home after some clever work to create the opening.
The second half was far less entertaining than the first, as Arsenal had to navigate through without much trouble.
After they calmed an early Fulham storm, it was easy as you like for the Gunners and they secured a crucial away win, barely getting out of second gear in the process.
Fulham 0-3 Arsenal: 3 talking points as Trossard shines for Gunners
The game provided plenty of talking points, here they are.
1. Gabriel Jesus is back
The Brazilian made his long-awaited return to the side and played the last 15 or so minutes. Arsenal will want to be cautious with their star man as he is so integral to their success.
It will be like a new signing for Arsenal as they chase title glory, and with Jesus returning at Craven Cottage, they again get a nice little confidence boost.

Just how pivotal his role will be in the title race is unknown, but having Jesus back on the pitch is superb at this time of year.

3. Blistering first-half sets up win

The Gunners were unplayable in the first half against Fulham. Playing away from home is always tricky, but Arsenal efficiently dealt with the hosts.

After VAR ruled out Arsenal’s first “goal,” Arteta’s side clicked into gear and slammed home three goals to close out the half.
