Poccettino is a good manager who has identified his best players and is putting them in places they can be successful.

the Spurs re a legitimate top 4 contender this season and they need to make it happen. Liverpool will continue to struggle. The players they have range from amazing to mediocre and Klopp will fix that over the summer. Chelsea are staggering right now, but they have the cash to fix it and they will. It’s too late for this year, but expect big money and whatever other4 changes are necessary to right the ship next year. Right now the title race is down to three teams; Arsenal, Man U, and Man City. It should be tight right to the end.

That means that the fourth spot is wide open; Liverpool might gird their loins and drag themselves up, Everton are playing good football again with Lukaku firing, and Tottenham are right there. This is the season clubs like Totteham need to establish themselves as top contenders. Liverpool got in two years ago because they had Suarez and Man U faltered. A few years earlier, Tottenham made it fourth when Chelsea slipped. These opportunities don’t come too often and the Spurs or toffees or Reds need to seize them.

I see what you’re saying. Perhaps I’m being a bit too harsh with Campbell. I think I’m just used to seeing Ramsey drifting in and feeding the ball like he did against United. Given his lack of playing time in comparison to what’s he’s put in, I guess it would be unfair to criticize him too much.

I totally agree on the Gab and Kosc pairing. It’s one for the future.

I was actually impressed again by Campbell. The effort has always been there, but we are really starting to see some positive decision making. He isn’t trying to be a hero, he isn’t trying to force the issue. He is composed. And that is what impresses me. Agree on Cazorla. Looked the same as he did against Bayern and that is not a good thing.

We need Gabriel and Kosc to be paired together again. And yes we….. need a CDM so terribly badly.

Surprisingly thought Debuchy had a decent game before his injury. I thought Per was awful and was lucky to not be victimized on an error more than the one goal he and Kosc gave away. Didn’t track his runner on set pieces just slow and lethargic. Sum’s up a good portion of our performance. Campbell…awhh Campbell. Love his work rate but I really can’t see what he offers us moving forward. Maybe he needs time but as of right now…I don’t see it. Cazorla got muscled around tonight. Maybe he was injured or sick but he definitely was not himself. If anything today just emphasizes our need for midfield strength in CDM. Flamini was great coming in, putting in tackles but he’ll be gone by the end of this season. Thank god for Ozil and Gibbs for blessing us with a goal. Other than that…I thought we were average. Glad to take a draw…but our spine needs some serious attention. I was looking on that bench today and just didn’t see anyone really capable of making a difference. Gibbs surprised us all today but…looking forward… we need a CDM!
