4. Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea
Had we managed to keep a clean sheet against the Blues, this match may have found itself higher up on this list. As it stands, though, we allowed Chelsea, the team that never scores, to score against us, and therefore, our 3-1 victory against the west London club comes in at fourth.
We were terrific in this game, particularly in the first half, during which our intensity and quality in each third of the pitch were simply too much for the visitors.
Occurring straight after our damning defeat to Manchester City, there were fears that the players would allow that disappointment to take control of them and we would lose this game.
However, that couldn’t have been any further from the truth. A first-half brace from Martin Odegaard and a goal from Gabriel Jesus secured the three points inside the opening 45 minutes. The one negative being we took our foot off the gas in the second half.

The Gtech Community Stadium is an incredibly difficult place to visit which we discovered the hard way on opening night in 2021. However, this time out, we were able to control the entire game and impose ourselves onto Brentford.

The terrific performance was capped with a sublime long-range strike from Fabio Vieira in what was a statement victory for the rest of the Premier League.

Our performance in this game was perhaps not quite as good as the previous two, but, how this match unfolded, and the way in which we eventually emerged victorious, means it has to be on this list.

2. Arsenal 3-2 Bournemouth

In a similar fashion to the Manchester United game, our 3-2 comeback victory against the Cherries makes the cut because of its context, rather than our performance in the game.

We found ourselves behind to a Philip Billing goal almost immediately, and then matters got even worse when the visitors doubled their lead in the second half.

However, the players then completed what is quite possibly one of the most dramatic comebacks I have seen with my own eyes. With the score locked at 2-2 in the 97th minute, Hale End academy graduate Reiss Nelson smashed the ball home from the edge of the box to send the Emirates into a frenzy.
